Plug gauge for lampholders for testing protection against
accidental contact G5
Purpose: To check protection against accidental contact in
lampholders G5.
Testing: When the hemisphere Y has been inserted into the orifice
of the lampholder
as far as it will go, neither indicator lamp light up.
II) 7006-47B-4
Double ended gauges for a combined pair of lampholders for testing
contact-making G5
Purpose: To check contact-making in a combined pair of flexible or
inflexible lampholders G5.
Testing: The combined pair of lampholders G5 shall be assumed to be
correct if both indicator lamps light
up when each of the See IEC60400, Clause 10: Construction.
III) 7006-47C-3 G5
Double ended go gauges for a combined pair of lampholders G5
Purpose: To check a combined pair of flexible or inflexible
lampholders G5 with regard to entry of lamp pins.
Testing: It shall be possible to insert each gauge in turn into a
combined
pair of lampholders. For the maximum forces to be applied see IEC
publication 400, sub clasue 10.5
